We provided BREEAM consultancy advice to Mountbatten House, Southampton, which was shortlisted as a finalist at the BREEAM Awards 2024 within the ‘best refurbishment & Fit-Out project’ category.

Originally targeting a BREEAM rating of Very Good, we worked with the design team to improve on this and secure a final BREEAM rating of Excellent. This rating is only achieved by the top 10% of UK refurbishment/fit out projects, demonstrating the exemplar performance of this project.

We provided an array of design advice including a life cycle assessment for Mat 01 credits, a building user guide and an indoor quality plan to provide building design and maintenance advice for optimal internal air quality.
