SBEM (Non-domestic)
SBEM is the Government’s software tool for analysing the energy consumption of non-dwellings. It is used for compliance with Building Regulations Part L2 (reducing CO2 emissions) and for the production of Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), both of which are required on the construction or letting of new buildings. Using our DesignBuilder software we’re able to provide energy certificates for both new and existing commercial buildings. Through our specialist design advice we can help you meet your sustainability objectives, whether these are influenced by ever-challenging Building Regulations or enhanced energy targets set by planning policy.
Our investment in research and innovation makes sure that our advice is based on the latest energy efficiency, low-carbon and renewable-energy technologies. We also stay up to speed with the requirements of Building Regulations Part L and always keep an eye on changing legislation and planning policy.
