With a background in architectural engineering and her expertise in the use of advanced computer modelling, Elena focuses on high quality sustainable design. Using her strong skills in dynamic thermal modelling and daylight simulation, she advises on optimised solutions that most effectively balance competing objectives including energy efficiency, solar design, natural daylight and ventilation.
Elena joined the practice in 2015 with previous experience in architecture and energy consultancy. She is responsible for preparing Overheating, Daylight and Sunlight Reports to support planning applications as well as Thermal Comfort reports as part of BREEAM assessments. As a qualified SAP Assessor, her expertise also involves fabric efficiency measures and renewable energy technologies to meet often complex project requirements.
