Esmée joined Hodkinson Consultancy in 2024 as a Graduate Environmental Consultant. Esmee has a MSc in Environmental Science and Policy at King’s College London. In specialising in urban sustainability, she became familiar with assessments like BREEAM, which crucially inspire and challenge developers to go beyond the performance requirements of building regulations. She is now gaining experience across a range of BREEAM projects helping clients ensure their developments benefit the environment and the people who live or work, in and around them. Her BA in Anthropology sparked her interest in the human condition, she is also working on projects seeking the WELL accreditation, which centres around constructing buildings which maximise the health and well-being of its occupants.

She has completed the BREEAM exams and is now a qualified assessor. In the coming months she aspires to achieve chartered status with IEMA.
