In 2024, Uzma became a Specialist at Hodkinson. In her role she primarily evaluates thermal bridging performance through modelling and simulation. This involves working closely with clients and architects to ensure the applicability of building physics aspects to attain the sustainability goals and targets.

Uzma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Architecture and Environmental Design, providing her with a solid foundation in design and building physics. She has been actively engaged in thermal modelling and the building physics aspects of sustainability for various UK developments, prioritising efficiency and accuracy.

Uzma is working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer through CIBSE.
