We supported Countryside Properties in their joint venture with Bracknell Forest Council to achieve planning consent for the regeneration of the Coopers Hill site. To ensure affordability, we balanced out energy efficiency measures such as high levels of insulation and high efficiency systems with low running cost heating systems tailored to the scheme. We also worked on the sustainability strategy (including waste reduction and water saving measures) and overheating mitigation strategy.
The aim is to deliver a high quality, sustainable development which will pave the way for the regeneration of Bracknell town centre. The project received unanimous consent at committee to provide 52 new dwellings of which 25% will be affordable homes, all with external landscaping and car parking spaces.
Coppers Hill is part of a larger regeneration project comprising of other sites within Bracknell Forest Council. We have also been involved in the sustainable design of another site and we look forward to another successful result.
